Jose "soberseas" Soberanes is a versatile creative professional hailing from Moreno Valley, CA, with cultural ties to Tijuana, MX. His artistic journey began in music composition, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Technology & Applied Composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (SFCM) under the mentorship of Maryclare Brzytwa & Mike Morasky.

As the Digital & Creative Manager at Pacific Park, Soberanes oversees in-park assets, including signage, event design, menu, restaurant, and store-front design, alongside photography and videography assets. In this ongoing role at Pacific Park, Soberanes manages freelancers, steering design projects, and embracing long-form content creation, including documentaries, podcasts, and zines. His focus for 2024 involves addressing wayfinding issues, contributing to a seamless and immersive visitor experience. He played a key role in the impactful "Goodbye, Sea Dragon" campaign at Pacific Park in early 2023, gaining recognition from major news outlets such as LA Times, KTLA, FOX LA, and more.

Simultaneously, he serves as a Creative Project Manager for the Los Angeles Philharmonic, notably managing creative assets and website production for the California Festival, in collaboration with the SF Symphony (cafestival.org). In 2022, Soberanes managed the design, creative & website structure of the groundbreaking Hollywood Bowl NFTs, "The First 100 Years," marking a revolutionary step in the music and web3 scene.

Independently, Soberanes is the visionary behind "SOBERSEASON," a unique, desert-conscious fashion house inspired by the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts, blending celestial influences from Catholic & Christian iconography. Distinct from this, he has recently transitioned from his role at Adidas. Nonetheless, his significant contributions to the Adidas collaboration with SONY & Marvel for the Spider-Man 2 game remain a testament to his design expertise and creative vision.

Rooted in the grit of family lore and soaked in the unpolished hues of his cultural heritage, Soberseas persists as a relentless maverick in the artistic wilderness. Driven by the raw impulse to carve tales that reverberate through the underground, he gravitates towards projects that bear the marks of authenticity. Soberseas forges a distinctive link between the urban grime of Tijuana, the gritty echoes of Moreno Valley, and the dusty trails of his desert origins.
